Dubai has announced its latest innovation in the blockchain and Web3 sector—the construction of a 17-story Crypto Tower in Jumeirah Lakes Towers. Developed by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) in collaboration with REIT Development, the tower aims to establish Dubai as a global leader in blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and artificial intelligence (AI).
A Dedicated Hub for Blockchain and DeFi
Spanning 150,000 square feet of leasable space, the Crypto Tower is designed to support the growing ecosystem of blockchain and Web3 companies in Dubai. The building will feature nine office floors dedicated to crypto startups and established firms, three floors for blockchain incubators and venture capital firms, and one floor exclusively for AI innovation, powered by Chatoshi.ai.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, CEO of DMCC, emphasized the project’s significance: “The Crypto Tower is both a real-world demonstration of the future of Web3 and a statement of our intent to solidify Dubai’s position as the leading innovation hub.”
